In this part of the interview Dr. David Yerkes discusses sleep health, and why sleep is so important.

You need to get good deep sleep, and you are probably not getting it if you are on your phone right before you “hit the sack”

Deep sleep is when your body recovers from the day’s events. You need good sleep hygeine (Check out my other sleep habits post here: https://howtosleepbetternaturally.com/what-is-sleep-hygeine/)

Again good sleep habits include:
-Go to bed at the same time every day.
-Get up at the same time every day.

Dr. Yerkes wears an oura ring to monitor his sleep.

Get the right amount of sleep and quality of sleep.

You are going to know that you are on a good sleep routine, when your biological clock wakes you up before your alarm wakes you up.
